Water, Sanitation, Hygiene & Environment

Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) are essential for people to thrive. SARA has focused on bringing clean water, dignified sanitation, and effective hygiene practices to crises-affected communities. Drought and conflict displaced families do not have the burden to walk long distances or pay money to get water.

SARA believes and works in the provision of clean drinking water which is a basic “human right” and the most elements in life. 

SARA WASH program entails; construction / rehabilitation of strategic water sources, construction of sanitation amenities and effective promotion of hygiene promotion at HH and communal level, Capacity building for the local community stakeholder through training on Water, Environment and Sanitation (WES) committees.
